Attractions in Helsinki
You can buy tickets, day trips or tours for most sights in advance and conveniently online - often also as Skip the Line variant, i.e. with preferential admission, so that you have less waiting time than most other tourists
English guided tours are particularly popular with travellers from English-speaking countries. Because tickets for these tours are often limited, we recommend booking such products in advance. This tip should also be followed if you want to book other activities skip-the-line, such as activities or tickets for places of interest.
In the future, the biggest sights will further limit the number of tourists and only issue limited tickets per available time. A timely booking in advance is therefore often worthwhile, as it ensures the desired time.

Made the best of the bad weather, thanks for this nice tour through Helsinki.
The tour with Mirja was exactly as we had hoped. Due to her friendly and sympathetic nature we immediately felt comfortable with her and her enthusiasm for her city was absolutely contagious. Furthermore, we were able to take along an incredible number of interesting stories and facts worth knowing about the history and culture of Finland, about the country and its people, which one would never have learned from brochures and travel guides. What we liked most was how much Mirja adjusted to our individual wishes and needs. We were on a cruise and had only a short stay in Helsinki, which was shortened even more by a delay of the ship. Mirja made sure that we could make maximum use of the time, spontaneously adapted the schedule and took longer time for us than originally planned to show us as much as possible of Suomenlinna and Helsinki and also to help us order a small meal and find our way back to our ship. If we are going to Helsinki again, we would definitely like to go on a trip with Mirja again!
The city guide arrived punctually at the agreed meeting point and responded to our personal wishes. Was competent and friendly. This tour is highly recommended.
A leisurely stroll through summer Helsinki. Mirja has responded to our requests for special destinations (e.g. rock church), but has also shown us unexpected sights such as the new National Library. Thank you very much for the interesting tour!
Very friendly and competent guide through a wonderful city
We did the guided tour with our guide Tarja. It was really an experience. Tarja has shown us (2 persons) her city with heart and feeling. We learned a lot about Helsinki and life in the city, we saw places we would never have discovered ourselves, Tarja grew up in Helsinki and speaks very good German, we couldn't have had a better guide. We really can only recommend this tour. Especially to mention is: Tarja has waited almost 40 minutes for us. We were so late because our ship had docked at the industrial port. We therefore had to find our agreed meeting place. Tarja didn't look at the clock but asked how long you had time. Now, where else are there such people. In Helsinki of course!
Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Absolutely competent, great city tour, no criticism.
We saw a very special hotel with a dark past, the art nouveau architecture of some rows of houses, the bays of Helsinki with the unemployed icebreakers. We got tips like visiting the offshore island Suomenlinna, making a detour to Tallin and an excellent recommendation for a Finnish restaurant. Of course, we also saw most of Helsinki's cultural treasures and everything you have to see. Thank you very much, Mrs Bohm, you have helped to ensure that we remember Helsinki in the best possible light
