Innsbruck sights: Worth seeing and experiencing are the world-famous Golden Roof in the Gothic Old Town (landmark of the city) and the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I, the Cathedral of St. Jacob and the Leopold Fountain, the Imperial Hofburg and Maria-Theresien-Strasse with the Anna Column, the Hofgarten and the banks of the Inn. During the winter time you should not miss the Christmas market and the mountain New Year's Eve.
Nightlife: Innsbruck has a lively and colourful nightlife due to the large number of students. In addition to the classical Landestheater, Innsbruck offers cultural delicacies, as well as big events (e.g. Innsbrucker Tanzsommer and the famous Festwochen der Alten Musik), traditional singing and dancing events and of course numerous pubs, bars and restaurants with a variety of music, where young and old can meet and enjoy themselves. Also worth mentioning are the restaurants, which offer traditional Tyrolean cuisine as well as all the highlights of international cuisine and make a comfortable stay - in the truest sense of the word - palatable. Of course there are also some nightclubs.
Souvenirs: "natural mineral water" (99%% of which is spring water), products of Tyrolean mountain farming (e.g. cheese, Tyrolean bacon, ham) and traditional costume
