Sympathetic guide, has told us a lot and has shown us simply a great tour; it should perhaps only be pointed out when the tastings take place in the cellar vault.

Do you know Hungarian goulash soup? Of course, who doesn't know them... but did you know that there are over 600 varieties of Hungarian wine?

With a very nice and competent guide we spent an entertaining and informative afternoon walk in Budapest in a small group. In addition to the visit to the market hall, a visit to a cafe and a wine tasting among other information were part of the successful program. The walk ended at the Budapest-Bistro with a gratefully accepted recommendation for dinner. It was fun, the tour is worth it. Thank you. I'll take care of it

Your experience

Description

Lots of questions that are answered during this half-day tour: You will visit an old market hall to learn about the ingredients of Hungarian cuisine, then take a short tour of the Jewish Quarter, which is the culinary nightlife mile of Budapest (with many ruined pubs and insider locations), try the most popular Hungarian things (salamis, sausages, cheese, vegetables, honey, etc.) in a gastro-boutique, taste some of the country's most famous wines and finally enjoy coffee & cake in one of the historic cafés.

On the way, an overview of the Budapest restaurant world is given, but also information about typical Hungarian recipes, the modern pub world in the Jewish quarter is not missed out on the tour. The tour can be finished at a good Hungarian restaurant.

Please note

The price does not include

  • - Hungarian specialities in the GastroBoutique - (10,- €/person)
  • - Coffee and cake of your choice in the Café Művész (6,- €/person)
  • - Wine tasting (4 Hungarian wines - 10,- €/person)

Meeting point

At the entrance of the market hall at Klauzál tér (7th district)

Reply of the supplier on 21. October 2019
