Successful game, unfortunately not all tasks were to be solved because of construction work. The Berlin Cathedral and the Pergamon Museum are unfortunately packed at the decisive points.

Unfortunately, the game was al too long and too cumbersome for my group of non-native teenagers. I also know these aren't the target group for scavenger hunts. Unfortunately we had to stop halfway because it was too long. I think dividing the whole thing into two parts might be a better solution. I plan to use the game again, but will simplify it accordingly.

Thank you very much for the immense preparation that is in there!

Great thing!!!! Even if you already know Berlin, you can learn more here :-)

It was real fun. The children were highly motivated (12 and 14 years). I highly recommend it

The city game is very well structured and the individual stations are described in detail. Each individual station is represented with a picture and there is much to the history. A very good opportunity to discover the city of Berlin

The scavenger hunt was a lot of fun. The lyrics are just the right length to motivate teenagers to join in.

We and the children - 9 and 5 - liked it very much. The 5 year old was just a little disappointed that there was no treasure at the end :-)

great

It was super beautiful and really informative. Only around the German and French cathedral well, one card less would have done it there too. Otherwise very recommendable with children and with our next city tour we will buy ourselves again a scavenger hunt.

Beautiful alternative to the standard Statdführung

Very nice and entertaining way to explore the sights of Berlin. Unfortunately the scavenger hunt was not always easy because of the many construction sites.

Your experience

Highlights

  • Experience an extraordinary guided tour through Berlin City in the form of a scavenger hunt
  • See all the central sights of the capital and decide for yourself which ones you want to pay more or less attention to

Description

You can play this city game on foot or by bike.
But in any case you need the city game box sent to you at the beginning of your scavenger hunt.
In it you will find 16 sealed and numbered envelopes, all of which contain small tasks. These have to be solved in the course of the game in order to find out the next envelope to be opened based on the result.

An example task is to find out how many horse heads can be seen on the gable of the "Neue Wache". As a solution, you will always receive a number, which then tells you the number of the next envelope

The "City Route I" takes you to the most important sights of the capital.
The starting point of the original scavenger hunt is the world time clock on Alexanderplatz. Afterwards you will be guided past the television tower. From the viewing platform there you can enjoy a unique view of the city of Berlin.

You will also pass the Red City Hall as well as the Berlin Cathedral and the Museum Island with its five museums
Depending on your needs, the scavenger hunt tour can be paused at any time to visit one of the museums, for example the Pergamon Museum.

You can also discover perhaps the most beautiful square in Berlin, the Gendarmenmarkt with the French and German Cathedrals. But also Pariser Platz with the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz with the Sony Center and Checkpoint Charlie are among the stops on this scavenger hunt city tour.

The city game stretches over about 10 kilometres and takes about 5-6 hours on foot. However, this can be extended individually if you take one or more breaks

Please note

The "City Route I" of our city play "(Ver-)führung Berlin" can be performed at any time of the year.

FAQ
1. What is the maximum size of a group participating in a city game?
First of all, it is up to you with how many family members, friends and acquaintances you set off with. However so that all city players have something of the scavenger hunt city tour and everyone can solve one of the tasks, we recommend a group size of up to 10 people. For larger groups, it is advisable to divide them up and let each of the smaller groups take a "city game (tour)".

  1. Which services are included in the "Stadtspiel (Ver-) Führung"?
When booking one of our "Stadtspiele (Ver-) Führung" you will receive the Stadtspiele Box, which contains everything you need for your scavenger hunt - city tour. If you would like to take part in additional guided tours on site, go to a museum etc., the additional services must be paid for on site.

  2. Do I need a city map for the city game?
No, for the execution of the paper chase - city tours no city map is necessary. All directions are formulated in such a way that you can find your way around without any problems.

  3. Which routes of the city game can I take by bike?
First and foremost, our bicycle route from Dresden to Pillnitz should be mentioned here. But also the routes "Dresden's churches" as well as "Elbe castles" or "Moritzburg" can be done by bike. On the Elbe Castle Tour, however, you have to cope with a long ascent. Our Berlin city game can also be carried out by bicycle. All other routes of our scavenger hunt city tours are done on foot or partly by bus and train.

  4. What happens if I get lost or cannot solve a task?
If you should ever be unable to solve a given task or even get lost, simply open the "first aid envelope" with the red cross. In it you will find all stations of the respective scavenger hunt city tour as well as the solutions to the respective tasks. You will also find a telephone number which you are welcome to call.

  5. How long does the implementation of the "Stadtspiel (Ver-)führung" take?
Plan a duration of at least 3 to 4 hours for all our routes of the scavenger hunt city tour Dresden, Radebeul, Meissen and Moritzburg. If you stop at cafés and restaurants on the way or take part in additional guided tours, visit museums etc., the duration of your city play will be extended accordingly.

  6. Do I have to do the scavenger hunt - city tour in one day?
No, it is up to you whether you want to run your city game on one day or interrupt it and continue on another day of your choice.

  7. Can I start my scavenger hunt - city tour at another place than the fixed starting point?
No, a start at another point of the city game is not possible, because the puzzles as well as the directions are based on each other. However, it is possible to interrupt the scavenger hunt city tour. At this point, you can also re-enter on another day of your choice.

  8. How many different routes are there from the Stadtspiel (Ver-)führung?
In the meantime, the Stadtspiel (Ver-)führung Dresden has twelve different tours that bring the curious visitor to Dresden and its surroundings in an unusual way: Old Town, Old Town for Kids, New Town, New Town for Kids, Elbe Castles, Friedrichstadt, Johannstadt, Radebeul, Meissen, Moritzburg, Dresden's churches and Elbe Cycle Route. Furthermore, our city game is also available for the cities of Leipzig and Berlin.

  9. Are the scavenger hunt city tours suitable for children?
Yes, our city games are also very suitable for children. Especially children from the age of 6, who can already read and therefore solve the tasks themselves, will be enthusiastic about a guided tour.

The price is per city game. You can take as many participants as you like
The ordered paper chase is a box with closed envelopes that will be sent to you. No guide is intended for you here.
It's up to you when you take off. Once you have your city game in your hands, you can theoretically leave

Hallo Sandra,
