Get to know important things about the country and the people, the culture and the history of this fascinating city. Stroll with us through the streets of Baixa, where we will have the opportunity to show you some hidden places you would not have found on your own.
At the Rossio, the most important place in the city, you will get to know how Lisbon became the city it is today after the great earthquake of 1755. Marvel at the elevator of Santa Justa, at the obelisk of the Rastauradores square and at the train station of the Rossio, built in New-Manueline-style.
Listen to the history of the Carnation revolution on the Carmo square back in 1974 where the Portuguese dictatorship came to an end.
Walk with us through the elegant Chiado quarter with its old cafes, shops, theaters and book shops. Taste our amazing Pastel de Nata cake and enjoy a short ride in one of Lisbon's old trams.
Stroll over the small squares and narrow streets of the old Moor quarter, where the time seems to stand still and visit the oldest church of the city, the Sé. Afterwards we will take you for a small tasting with Portuguese cheese, chouriço and a glass wine.
The tour ends at the Praça do Comercio, the former gate to the city and the world, one of the biggest and most beautiful places in Europe.
