Be prepared to discover the largest, as well as one of the oldest districts of Prague and its typical neighborhoods that are richly documented by major archaeological sites on this spectacular trip to Prague’s canyon. You will be fascinated by the unforgettable experience that you will acquire during your trip on the Segway.
The 3-hour tour starts with a private training from your professional guide and learning the safety instructions of using the Segway. The trip will begin as soon as all of the members feel safe and comfortable. The grand Segway ride will cross along historical churches, the most well-known monasteries, parks with unique fauna and flora, several observation points and fantastic panoramic views of the city. By the first stage of your journey, marvel at the view of the valley and the slopes of Břevnov by passing through the beautiful lanes and get to the oldest male monastery in the Czech Republic, which was founded by Duke Boleslav II, along with a second Bishop of Prague Adalbert in 993. The remains of a crypt under the Church of St. Margaret have been preserved from the old Romanesque church buildings. Taste beer from the monastery brewery Břevnovský Benedict. Its history dates back to the 13th-century. The brewery is situated in the Baroque building of the former stables.
Among others, you will visit the fabulous Church of St. Fabian and Sebastian originally built in Romanesque style. Take a ride and reach the home to the myth and legend, the beautiful dale and total escape - Divoka Sarka, a huge nature reserve. The name means Wild Sarka, a mythic female warrior (see myth below) and is, indeed, somewhat of an untamed place. Passing through the cool green shade and following the path of Sarka Potom (Sarka Stream), listening to the gentle sound of running water, you can't help but feel completely transported back in time to when the jagged shale and limestone cliffs were formed. In the midst of all the beautiful trees, there are wide open fields and your emotions might be similar to a fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Andersen. This spectacular trip to Prague’s canyon is an alternative way to admire Prague - the heart of Europe. Hop-on a Segway and descend to the locality with picturesque lanes, village houses and historical inns, first mentioned in 993 Old Střešovice, known as the "local Beverly Hills." On the way back, get to see the masterpiece of Constructivist non-decorative architecture at Muller's villa, which was built by the Viennese architect Loos in 1930.
