Description

We begin our tour to Chapala with a visit to the old station of the French facade train, whose construction was completed around 1920.

To continue with the beautiful beach promenade, we walk and admire the view of the largest lake in Mexico. Because of its pleasant climate it is a place of bird migration.

In December 1955, Lake Chapala was in one of the worst periods of drought, so it was decided to take the Virgin of Zapopan and make a pilgrimage in search of the miracle of rain, through this event in June 1956, it rained so hard in the storm that it recovered and thanks to this miracle, a thanksgiving mass is celebrated every year on July 1st.

We will continue our visit to the Floresta, a place where foreigners want to retire while fleeing from the extreme climate of their cities. We stop in Ajijic and the free time is given to knowledge. We get into the truck and drive to Piedra Barrenada, where the tourist is advised to take the food at his own expense. We close at the meeting point indicated by the guide and accept our return.
