Your experience

  • Huaca Pucllana (Panoramic)
  • Museum of "Banco Central de Reserva"
  • Museum of San Francisco Convent

The Peruvian land was inhabited by the south american natives right before the Incan and the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors. These people distinguished themselves by their agriculture and culture. With these types of living they have had a similarity with the Incans. The Incans reigned on the same land a bit later and they cared for their own traditions and the sun cult, which is very popular for their people. Human sacrifices fpr special occasions and animal sacrifices in honor of their sun god, Inti, weren't a rarity. Their empire reached from today's Ecuador to the Chile and Argentina.

During this tour through the three historic periods of Lima you will get a first insight in the prehispanic, colonial and modern details of the capital of Peru. To the evidences of the prehispanic time counts the „Huaca Pucllana“ pyramid, which is built out of adobes. The pyramid was used as a cemetery and storage place.

To be able to understand the colonialisation, the preincan culture and the following Incan Empire, you will visit the museum of „Banco Central de Reserva“, where you will get an overview over the ancestors of the Peruvian Culture. In the next museum, which is the „San Francisco Convent“, waits for you old as well as new architecture. The tour ends with a round trip through the streets of Lima. Thereby will be more colonial and modern infrastructure shown and explained to you.
