During the tour through the most populous city of Turkey you will see many interesting sights of the city and can easily avoid the queues in front of the attractions!

The tour begins with the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, known in Europe as the Blue Mosque. It was built in the 17th century under the reign of Sultan Ahmed I and is famous for the blue tiles that give it its name. They decorate the lower part of the walls, come from Iznik or Nicaea and mostly show fascinating plant motifs in shades of green and blue
More mosaics and artistic decorations await you in the world-famous Hagia Sophia, one of Istanbul's landmarks: the building, which was built in the 6th century, was originally a Byzantine church, was converted into a mosque and is now a museum.

After visiting these two impressive old buildings, you go to the Topkapı palace, which is located on a headland between the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara. The palace consists of several buildings and large gardens, with up to 5000 inhabitants it was almost a city in its own right in past centuries. Today, like the Hagia Sophia, it has been converted into a museum and houses manuscripts, porcelain, robes, jewels and weapons of the old Ottoman Empire.
Next stop on your private tour of Istanbul is the Cisterna Basilica, also known as the "Sunken Palace", located near the Hagia Sophia. It owes its name to the huge water reservoir (cistern), which is located in the ground beneath it and which was used to supply water to the Great Palace. The Cisterna Basilica is particularly famous, as some scenes from the James Bond film "Love Greetings from Moscow" were filmed in the cistern.

At the end of your tour, your guide will take you to the Grand Bazaar, which houses more than 4000 shops in an area of 200.00m2 and where you can buy everything your heart desires.
