On the way to Essaouira, you can enjoy the drive through the countryside with its small villages and olive- and argan tree groves. Stop at a local co-operative run by women who extract the Argan oil from the trees and see how it is processed into oil and cosmetics.
The famous coastal town Essaouira has a lot to offer: Stroll through the traditional port with its bustling fish market, drink a coffee on the golden beach which is famous for surfing and discover the bustling medina to buy some souvenirs.
Enjoy fresh fish and seafood for lunch and discover the beautiful medina, where you can find white-and-blue houses where artists are selling their crafts. Visit the historic ramparts and the fortress with its beautiful views of the shoreline. If there is still time, go for a camel ride on the beach!
