You start your day tour at 8 am with a visit to the Christian part of Cairo. Before Egypt became an Islamic country, it was mainly populated by Christians. For this reason there are many Christian monuments in the Coptic quarter of Cairo Old Cairo is home to some of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Cairo. First of all, visit the hanging church, which is over 1000 years old and particularly worth seeing The hanging church owes its name to the fact that it was built on the ruins of the Roman fort Babylon.

Wander through the historic quarter and explore the remains of Fort Babylon. Continue your journey to Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. Then visit the church of Abu Serga, which is said to be the place where the Holy Family hid during their flight to Egypt

Next to the mosque of Sultan Hasan is the Al-Rifa'i Mosque, which you will also visit. Then admire the Muhammad Ali Mosque, which is a real eye-catcher with its Ottoman style and baroque elements. The mosque is located directly in the citadel of Cairo

End your impressive day with a visit to the Khan Khalili Bazaar. The huge souk is located directly in the old town of Cairo and from here the Egyptian life can be wonderfully recreated.
