Your tour begins at the Vatican Museums. The magnificent museum complex offers galleries, paintings, sculptures, frescoes, tapestries and classical antiquities of Roman, Greek and Egyptian origin.
Your professional guide will take you to visit the Raphael's Rooms, Pine Courtyard, the Gallery of the Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, Pio Clementine Museum and the Gallery of the Candelabra. Then proceed inside the stunning Sistine Chapel where you can admire Michelangelo’s world famous frescos ‘The Last Judgment’ and ‘The Creation of Adam’. At the end of the tour your guide will take you to visit the largest church in Christendom, the St. Peter’s Basilica, and will introduce you there history of several art works such as Michelangelo’s famous ‘La Pietà’ sculpture, Bernini’s immense 'Baldachino' and much more! The tour will conclude at St. Peter's Square.

Vatican tour on Wednesday mornings: St. Peter's Basilica might be closed for the public on Wedneday mornings due to the weekly Papal Audience. In this case you will have a 3.5-hour walking tour of Vatican Museums, the Raphael's Rooms and the Sistine Chapel.
A dress code is required: knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
Please note that tours on the 24th and the 31st December might not include St. Peter's Basilica, as it might be closed for the public because of the Mass.

This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Meeting point is on the corner of Viale Giulio Cesare and Via Leone IV (opposite Burger King). Directions for the meeting point: Take Metro Line A to Ottaviano metro station. When you get out from the metro at Ottaviano station, take the second exit on the left and make a left. Please pass the newsstand you see outside the metro station, and keep on walking until you get to the corner of Via Leone IV. Please meet us 15 minutes before tour starts and bring your booking confirmation.
