Experience how the stories of the Eternal City come to life again
Enjoy the sunset on the "Pincio" terrace: one of the most romantic and picturesque places in the city
Visit two of the main attractions of the Italian capital: the Trevi Fountain and the beautiful Spanish Steps
On this tour you will visit the most beautiful baroque fountains and squares of the old town with your local guide, walk through the typical cobblestone streets and listen to the stories about the Eternal City that come to life again.
We meet in Piazza del Popolo, where important churches, fountains and monuments embellish the large square. Go up to the "Pincio" terrace to see the sunset over Rome. It is one of the most romantic and picturesque places in Rome and gives you a great view over the city.
You will also see the famous Spanish Steps with Bernini's famous "Barcaccia" fountain. The square is one of the must-see places in Rome. You walk through the nice streets of the old town to the impressive Trevi Fountain, which is the largest baroque fountain in Rome. An ancient legend says that when visitors toss a coin into the fountain, they will come back to Rome!
They stop in Piazza della Rotonda and see the fascinating Pantheon from the outside. The monumental building was erected in 27 BC by Agrippa and is dedicated to all Roman gods. In the seventh century, the Pantheon became a church and was dedicated to Mary and the martyrs. It is also a resting place of some great Renaissance artists like Raffaello.
You will also see the beautiful Piazza Navona with Bernini's magnificent Four Rivers Fountain in the center. The square houses other important monuments and architectural creations: the church of Sant 'Agnese in Agone by Borromini, Palazzo Pamphili, the Neptune Fountain at the northern end of the square and the fountain Moor by the sculptor Giacomo della Porta at the southern end, to which Bernini then added a statue.
Your romantic evening tour ends at Campo de 'Fiori, famous in the past for its races and even executions. In the middle of the square stands the statue of Giordano Bruno. Nowadays Campo de 'Fiori is a busy marketplace in the morning and a popular meeting place for Roman nightlife in the evening. The perfect place to end the evening after your tour in the Eternal City with a glass of wine.
