Description

Porto Cervo is the capital of the Costa Smeralda and for more than fifty years the richest people in the world have spent their summer here.

The resort was developed by leading architects and urban planners from the 1960s, including Luigi Vietti, Michele Busiri Vici, Jacques and Savin Couelle, Peter Schneck, Gerard Bethoux, Jean Claude Lesuisse, Enzo Satta and Guiseppe Polese. Discover the magnificent villas and beautiful hotels that characterise the area. Visit the old port, the piazza and visit the church Stella Maris

Afterwards you continue to Porto Rotondo, located south of Porto Cervo. The town is one of the most important tourist destinations of the Italian and international elite. Porto Rotondo is also called "Poltu Ritundu" by the locals and was founded in 1964 by the Venetian Count Nicolo and Luigi Dona delle Rose. Learn all about the interesting history of this city and the visions of the two brothers to make Porto Rotondo a "milieu" for artists and intellectuals. Sculptors such as Andrea Cascella and Giancarlo Sangregorio, Ceroli, Renato Guttuso, Emanuel Chapalain and many others have contributed to making Porto Rotondo one of the most elegant and picturesque holiday villages in the whole Mediterranean.

Before returning to your place of residence in Sardinia, you will make another stop in San Pantaleo. About 12 kilometres away is the beautiful village off the coast of Costa Seralda. Situated between pointed, jagged granite mountains, the old town still preserves the typical style of the Gallura shepherds. The church of San Pantaleo was built in 1894 and around it the charming town centre developed.

In San Pantaleo, an artist community of painters, ceramists and sculptors from all over Europe has come together. Discover the craft shops and watch the artists making handicrafts from wood, wrought iron, terracotta and ceramics

Admire the unique pieces made by the local craftsmen who also decorate the villas of the surrounding area. The village attracts visitors from all over the world and is definitely worth a visit. Every Thursday morning between May and October there is a craft and food market. Take the chance and purchase homemade works of art and fine regional products
