The region around the Dry Halong Bay is a paradise for anyone who loves the outdoors and perfect for an adventurous day trip. You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Hoa Lu which used to be the ancient capital of Vietnam. On your way to Hoa Lu, you will stop at the tomb of King Dinh Tien Hoang. The tomb was built in the 11th century and is the oldest emperor's tomb of Vietnam. Visit the inside of the temple before you head to the tomb of king Le Dai Hanh.

Located in the province of Ninh Binh and nearby Tam Coc you will find the Dry Halong Bay which is also often referred to as the “Halong Bay on land“. In contrast to the other well-known Halong Bay it is not sourrounded by the sea but by lush green rice fields dotted by short limestone hill ranges. The peaceful place is characterized by karst formations that offer a breathtaking scenery. Go on a scouting expeditions and see sugar cane, soy bean and fruit plantations.

Tam Coc means “three caves“ and in fact you will find three caves in this region: Hang Ca, Hang Giua and Hang Cuoi.The an exciting boat trip with a small sampan to explore all three caves. Enjoy an idyllic cruise past lotus ponds and several plantations. Finally you will visit the Bich Dong pagoda and you will be dropped off at your hotel.
