Explore the Jewish Quarter and its moving history as well as its vivid present on a 2.5-hour walking tour. Gain an overview of the districts' history and modern life. Your guided tour starts in front of the Rudolfinum, which is situated at the river banks. Be impressed by the concert hall which is probably the oldest within Europe.
You’ll move forward to the Jewish Quarter, locally known under the name Josefov. Listen to the fascinating information your guide gives you about the Jewish community and hear some personal stories about persons of public interest as well.
On your way you’ll take the chance to throw a glance into six synagogues and get in touch with the local religion. As an expert in Jewish history of Prague, your guide will bring the past of the quarter to life. Later you’ll visit the Old Jewish Cemetery and finally end up at the Spanish synagogue, which has been built in 1868.
