Your experience

  • Discover the secrets of the archaeological ruined city of Teotihuacan
  • Enjoy the mysterious atmosphere in Teotihuacan without many tourists
  • See the main attractions of Mexico City

The tour begins with a visit to the archaeological ruined city of Teotihuacan, the so-called "City of the Gods". In the early morning, when the sun slowly rises between the pyramids, you can best visit the prehistoric city, as most tourist groups arrive later. Feel the magical and mystical atmosphere of this impressive site while you take your time to look at the various buildings, squares and walls. Your professional guide will lead you through the city and tell you all about its history and the latest research and findings. Listen to the exciting anecdotes and stories your guide will share with you.

In the afternoon you will return to Mexico City and explore the main sights. First you will see the Zocalo, the main square of Mexico City, where the seat of the Aztec Empire was located before the Spanish conquest. This capital of the Aztecs was then called Tenochtitlan. However, at the beginning of the 16th century it was destroyed by the Spanish conquerors and the colonial city was built on its remains

Afterwards you visit other landmarks of the city like the cathedral of Mexico City. It is the largest cathedral on the American continent and is located on the northern side of the Zocalo. Also close by is the Palacio Nacional, built in 1563 as the residence of the Viceroy of New Spain and now the seat of the Mexican government. It occupies the entire eastern side of the Zocalo and is over 200 metres long. The last destination on this tour is the impressive Palacio de Bellas Artes, the most important cultural centre in all of Mexico. It was declared a monument of art by UNESCO in 1987 and houses two museums and various exhibition and performance halls. In the past it has been the venue for important performances in the fields of music, dance, theatre, opera and literature.
