Description

Your guide will meet you at your hotel or other meeting point and together you will set off for Felix Romuliana near Gamizgrad

The road will lead you through the valley of the Morava River. The valley is known as the only natural passage through the Balkan Peninsula and you have the opportunity to admire beautiful views, mythical mountains and the backdrop of the unusual mountain Rtanj

The palace was named Felix Romula Palace by Emperor Galerius Maximianus in honour of his mother Romula. The name means cheerful Romula and was intended to bring good luck to this place. It is situated in the middle of corn fields, near the nearby village of Gamzigrad in Eastern Serbia

From Gamizgrad the tour will continue to Bor, a mining town with one of the largest copper mines in Europe. Here you will explore the largest man-made cave in Europe. This open pit mine, just like the scenery of that time, can be easily visited from a visitors' terrace

Afterwards you will have the opportunity to have lunch in a local restaurant at the lake After you have enjoyed a delicious meal and after an eventful day you will return to Belgrade.
