The garden complex is located on the left bank of the Yamuna, opposite the Taj Mahal. It consists of a large rectangular area and is aligned straight with the Taj Mahal. The forest plantations and farmland form a green forecourt to the Taj Mahal and its reflection in the Yamuna.
