Description

Go on a full day excursion from Santiago de Compostela to the Costa da Morte. The "Coast of Death" stretches for several kilometres along the north-western coast of Galicia. During your excursion you will explore the different villages along the southern part of the coast: Pontemaceira, Muros, Finisterre and Muxia. First you stop at the Mirador de Paxareiras viewpoint to enjoy the fantastic views of the fascinating coastal landscape

After you have enjoyed the incomparable view, you continue your way to Muros. Explore the enchanting fishing village with its numerous inviting harbour taverns. Next stop is Èzaro, where you will encounter a natural spectacle of a special kind. Admire the famous Èzaro waterfall. Then take the road to Finisterre. Finisterre means translated "end of the world", because Cape Finisterre was long thought to be the western end of the world

Visit the lighthouse at Cabo Fisterra, which offers a unique panoramic view over the sea. Muxía is the last stop on your tour. Explore the picturesque coastal town known for the biggest shipping accident on the Galician coast and countless legends about Saint Jacob. The sanctuary of A Virxe da Barca is also one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Galicia. Finally, you will set off again on the way back to Santiago de Compostela
