Your experience

  • Explore one of the most beautiful ocean roads in the world
  • Travel to less-visited areas to watch wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas, penguins
  • Enjoy stunning views

Take a drive along the spectacular Great Ocean Road and experience one of the world's most scenic coastral drives along the south-west coast of Victoria. You will depart from Melbourne in the early morning and pass by various beautiful beaches, forests and several charming seaside towns. Take a look at Torquay, the start of the Great Ocean Road offering various surf spots. Continue your way to Anglesea, where you have the opportunity to visit Angleasea Golf Club in order to see wild kangoroos. Pass by the picturesque seaside town of Lorne and stop at Apollo Bay for lunch. Apollo Bay is located in the heart of the Otway ranges and is midway along the Great Ocean Road.

Continue your drive along the coastline before passing through the winding road inside Great Otway National Park. If you want, you can take an Otway treetop walk in the giant rainforest looking for wild koalas. Afterwards you will head west to reach Campbell National Park, the highlight of the day. The Campbell National Park is famous for its extraordinary collection of wave-sculptured rock formations and the Twelfth Apostels, a truely spectacular sight along the Great Ocean Road.

Take a look at the Gibson Steps, 86 hacked steps on the cliff leading to a wild beach and the ocean. Explore Loch Ard Gorge, one of the most famous stop-off points along the Great Ocean Road. Wander along the trails, discover the offshore limestone stacks and towering cliffs. End the day by watching the penguins returning ashore after sunset at London Bridge. In the evening you will drive back to Melbourne.
