Full-Day Bejing Tour: Forbidden City and Mutianyu Great Wall

Be part of a full-day sightseeing tour of Bejing and explore the city's most famous highlights including the forbidden city and Mutianyu Great Wall. After a comfortable pickup from your hotel, you will first head to Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City. Stroll around Tian'anmen Square, located in the center of Bejing. Then continue your way to the Forbidden City. Explore the largest and best preserved imperial palace complex of the world.

Visit the UNESCO-World Heritage Site, which served as the imperial palace for more than 20 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Pass by the Gate of Heavenly Peace until you reach the Meridian Gate. Explore the outer court consisting of three main buildings and continue your way to the buildings of the inner court. During your visit you will learn more about why it is called “The Forbidden City“.

Then it is time for a break and a traditional Chinese lunch served in a nice local restaurant. Afterwards you will visit a Silk Factory and A Tea House and learn more about the production processes. In the afternoon, you will visit Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved and best-known sections of the Great Wall. Take in the breathtaking scenery and learn more about the Great Wall's history. Finally you will be taken back to your hotel.
