Pick up from your hotel/airport or desired location in Delhi at 6:30 am and departure to Hazrat Nizamuddin station to take the super fast Gatimaan Express train to Agra at 8:10 am. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Agra. Breakfast is served on the train.
9:50 AM - Arrival in Agra and exploration of Taj Mahal: Your guide and driver are waiting to welcome you at the station with your name tag and drive you to one of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal. The monument has a great history of love and affection. It was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in the 16th century.
12:30 PM - Visit of Agra Fort: Visit Agra Fort, a large museum with interesting buildings founded by Akbar. Every subsequent Mogul emperor up to Aurangzeb contributed something. The construction of Agra Fort began in 1565 and was completed in 1573.
01:30 PM - Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch buffet in a renowned restaurant.
02:30 PM - Visit to Itmad-ud-Daulah: Visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah, also known as 'Baby Taj', built by Noorjahan in memory of her father.
03:30 PM - Leisure time: have the evening off to explore the bazaar of Agra 'Rich Heritage of Handicrafts' free at leisure. Here you can buy the most famous marble handicraft.
5:00 PM - Drive back: Drive to the the railway station Agra Cantt at 5:00 pm.Your train leaves at 5:50 pm and reaches Nizamuddin station at 7:30 pm. Here, the driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Delhi or to Delhi airport.
Please note that the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. Please carry a valid photo ID (passport/driving license/student identity card) for the train journey. Optional tours of marble inlay workshops and a carpet weaving site can be arranged on request.
