Guided Tour of Bandar Seri Begawan and its Surrounding Wildlife

Join me for a private tour by modern air-conditioned car and speedboat around Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB), our compact and friendly capital city.

You'll have the opportunity to see our local lifestyle as we travel around the city, including the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque (world renowned for it's beauty), the many treasures inside the Royal Regalia Museum, a visit to the entrance to His Majesty's Palace for a photo opportunity and a visit to the opulent Empire Hotel & Country Club.

We also take a river tour for a chance to spot Borneo's unique Proboscis monkeys, as well as, other wildlife such as freshwater crocodiles, monitor lizards and even magnificent birds such as the majestic hornbills, kingfishers and even eagles. Our short tour ends with a visit to a private house in the stilt village, where you can experience local hospitality and enjoy some traditional light refreshments.

The standard itinerary includes the following places, as well as stopping for lunch:

1. Jame Asre Mosque (His Majesty's Mosque)
2. Istana Nurul Iman (His Majesty's Palace)
3. Royal Regalia Museum (priceless exhibits from His Majesty's family dynasty)
4. The Empire Hotel and Country Club (the renowned spectacular hotel)
5. Visit of the Stilt Village Kapong Ayer (the largest in S. E. Asia)
6. River Tour to the Mangroves and Proboscis Monkeys (unique to Borneo)
7. Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque (The Late Sultan's mosque - world renowned for its beauty)

There are other museums and places of interest, so if there's something else you would like to do or see, just let me know and I can of course amend the itinerary to suit. It's your private tour after all!

Please note that on Thursdays and Fridays, both mosques are closed to non-Muslim visitors. His Majesty's Palace is just a photo opportunity at the front gate, as the Palace is only available for visits during the festivities of Hari Raya for 2 days per year.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off at all hotels, the airport and main locations within the Bandar Seri Begawan area are included in the price. For destinations further away, there may be additional cost - please ask.
