Rosenborg Castle (Inside)
During a guided tour through the city of Copenhagen, starting from the Town Hall Square (Radhuspladsen), you will see the highlights such as the Tivoli Garden (outdoor visit), one of the oldest shopping streets in the world and, last but not least, the charming changing of the guard in Amalienborg Palace.
Afterwards you will visit Rosenborg Castle. Rosenborg is a Renaissance castle in Copenhagen. However, it was originally built in 1606 as a country house and is an example of the many architectural projects of Christian IV.Our guided tour focuses on the very special objects, rooms and stories that you simply have to know after visiting this unique castle. See, among other things, the private rooms of Christian IV, the state rooms of the monarchs, the Great Hall and the crown jewels which glitter in the deep underground of the treasury.
The main attractions are also the Knight's Hall with the coronation thrones and three life-size silver lions standing guard. You can also see the tapestries on the walls commemorating the battles between Denmark and Sweden.
