Your tour starts at the beautiful Campo San Giacomo di Rialto, where you will meet your experienced guide and go to the world-famous Rialto Bridge. Not far from the Rialto Bridge you can take a look at the Rialto fish market and learn more about the long fishing tradition of the city. Then dive into Sestier de Cannaregio, one of Venice's most authentic neighbourhoods.
Admire the former house of Marco Polo, the unique design of the church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and the Campo San Giovanni and Paolo, where there is a fascinating statue of Verocchio. Stroll through the winding streets of Venice and enjoy the captivating stories your expert has in store about the city's history.
Next, experience the world-famous St. Mark's Square, where you take a moment to enjoy the atmosphere before visiting the building from the inside. Here you'll get a deep insight into the way Venice once built a trading empire that stretched across the Mediterranean. Inside, the mosaics and numerous other treasures will delight you.
The highlight and at the same time the end of the tour is a half hour gondola ride with a professional gondolier. With only 6 people per gondola, your experience will be intimate and relaxing as you glide through the quieter hidden canals of Venice.
Unfortunately, this tour is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility, wheelchairs or prams.

St Mark's Basilica may be subject to unexpected closures due to special celebrations. In this case the construction will be explained to you from the outside.
Please remember that the cathedral is a sacred place, so you should dress appropriately. Both men and women are asked to wear clothes that at least cover their shoulders and knees. Backpacks are forbidden in St Mark's Basilica.
The tour takes place in all weathers. However, the gondola ride cannot be carried out in case of heavy rain or high water. The tour then follows an alternative itinerary.
