Description

Our professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor. Your tour begins with a Nile cruise on the west bank. On the way you can visit and marvel at the Valley of the Kings and the magnificent architecture that was used for the burial of the kings. The most famous tombs are those of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Merenptah and AmonhotepII

Afterwards, you will visit the temple of queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I. She ruled Egypt during the 18th dynasty (1490-1469 B.C.) and is thus the only pharaonic woman who ruled ancient Egypt. Afterwards you will have about 15 minutes to visit the Colossi of Memnon (remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III). Afterwards we return to the east shore of Luxor

On the east bank you will visit the Karnak Temple, which is the largest example of worship in history. It is dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Finally, you will visit the temple of Luxor. It was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. At the end of your tour you will be taken back to your hotel.
