Your experience

  • Stroll through a sculpture park overlooking the Tuscan countryside
  • Marvel at a six meter high, Egyptian obelisk
  • Discover the Boboli Garden, the Porcelain Museum and the Bardini Garden

With this ticket you do not only get preferred entry to the Boboli Garden, but also to the nearby Porcelain Museum and the spectacular Bardini Garden.

The Boboli Garden is a beautifully landscaped sculpture park behind the Pitti Palace. It combines an extravagant mixture of nature, architecture and sculpture, as well as various museums. With this ticket you can walk past the queues and have access to the Porcelain Museum and the nearby Bardini Garden. A journey here is a journey deep into the heart of Renaissance perfection.

Walking along the geometric paths of this well-kept green space, you will be surrounded by an almost perfect expression of Renaissance ideals. Natural beauty, formally ordered, beautifully decorated architecture and real and simulated ancient structures. In fact, this garden was one of the first landscape projects that precisely defined what the Renaissance ideal of natural beauty would be. #trendsetter

A visit here is a good opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature. There are some particularly impressive old oaks. The influence of ancient culture can be seen in all gardens, from the Neptune Fountain to the Sea Fountain, from Giambologna to the Grotto of Giorgio Vasari and of course the Egyptian obelisk from the 13th century BC. And everywhere in the gardens there are sculptures and fountains, so that one feels like a duke or a duchess.

Boboli Garden:
The original Renaissance garden, the 111 hectare Boboli Garden, was a gift from Cosimo I de' Medici to his wife Eleonora di Toledo.

Bardini Garden:
The lesser known Bardini Garden is a smaller (and quieter) garden nearby, that was only recently opened to the public.

Porcelain Museum:
Located in the Casino del Cavaliere on a hill overlooking the gardens, these important and beautiful collections document the taste (and means) of the Florentine ruling class.
