In the museum's Medici collection you will find some of Galileo's original scientific instruments, including his iconic telescope and the lenses with which he discovered the moons of Jupiter. And you see his real middle finger, perfectly preserved in an artistic glass ampoule!
Then browse an incredible collection of ancient Italian scientific equipment, including the armillary sphere of Antonio Santucci (the largest in the world). You will see how much Tuscany has contributed to modern science.
