At the beginning of the excursion, you will be taken on a comfortable VIP class bus from Barcelona to Montserrat. During the tour our experienced guide will explain what you can see in Montserrat, this beautiful 1200m high mountain scenery with its amazing rock formations.
The mountain has produced numerous myths and legends and is the location of one of the oldest monasteries of Catalonia. In Montserrat you can visit the basilica of the monastery on your own and admire the famous carving of the Virgin of Montserrat, which is called "La Moreneta" because of its skin colour.
The funicular also offers a spectacular panoramic view of Montserrat, 1,000 m above sea level. The viewpoint offers a bird's eye view of the monastery and spectacular views of the surroundings and the Pyrenees.
