The tour starts with the pick-up from your hotel in the with a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to show you the seductive heritage of Agra and its surroundings. The Taj Mahal is considered by many to be the most beautiful building in the world. Built by a grieving Shah in memory of his beloved wife, the building was later described as "a drop on the cheek of eternity".
Later we continue to the majestic Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and more than two km long and 65 feet (20 m) above the Yamuna River. Admire the filigree ornaments of mosques, palaces and audience halls within the breathtaking complex.
Then we visit Fatehpur Sikri - figuratively speaking it is a perfectly preserved red stone, which was built in 1569 AD and is also known as the "ghost town". The fortified city was built by the Mogul emperor Akbar in the late 16th century and was abandoned after only 14 years. After this visit you will be brought back to your hotel in Agra.
