Go to Doolin Pier 1, where you'll find the fastest and most modern ferry on the Wild Atlantic Way, the Bill & Liam O'Brien's Doolin Express. Established in 1970, this route has been designed to take visitors to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher ever since.
Your one-hour boat ride takes you away from Doolin Pier and puts you in a prime location to explore the 8km rock face that stretches from Doolin to Liscannor.
These spectacular cliffs were formed from sandstone, siltstone and slate. They all stand out at a strange angle. There are literally hundreds of caves in the cliffs and you will see them hit by the hard Atlantic waves.
As the sea birds begin to circle and the waves crash the cliffs, you'll be lucky to have a place in the first row!
Show your smartphone ticket at the Bill O'Brien Doolin Ferry Company, Doolin Pier No. 1.
Make sure to be at the Pier at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
The buses run six times a day in July and August, four times a day in June and September and three times a day during the rest of the year. If you wish to travel by bus, please refer to the timetable.
