Description

Want to discover something artistic in Rome? See a magnificent collection of over 100,000 works, including paintings, drawings, photographs, statues, furniture and costumes at Palazzo Braschi. The Canaletto exhibition (1697-1768) shows you bonus works from some of the world's most important museums and galleries!

This palace, designed with great effort by the famous architect Cosimo Morelli, is truly one of the most beautiful museums in the city. Inside there is a remarkable staircase with 18 red granite columns, originally used by Emperor Caligula and designed by Giuseppe Valadier.

Follow the stairs up to the exhibition rooms for impressive handicrafts, including fragments of beautiful medieval frescoes from the demolished Romanesque church of Santa Maria in Vincis.

See portrait busts of members of leading papal families, paintings by Giovanni Paolo Pannini and Bartolomeo Pinelli depicting Roman ceremonies and festivals. You will also discover a fascinating collection of photos, furniture, clothing and ceramics.

You can then enjoy a snack in the café, which has direct access to Piazza Navona.

Choose the Canaletto exhibition (1697-1768) and see bonus works from some of the world's most important museums and galleries!
