Description

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London offers an amazing new opportunity to explore the magic of Harry Potter™ films - the most successful film series of all time. This unique tour takes you behind the scenes and presents a wide selection of beautiful sets, costumes and props. It also reveals some closely guarded secrets, including facts about the special effects and animatronics that have made these movies so popular around the world.

Warner Bros. studio tour London has been extended with a new section that includes a replica of track 9 ¾ and the original Hogwarts Express steam engine! This permanent exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to board the train's carriage and pose with a luggage trolley as it disappears through the platform wall. Scenes with the train were shot in the studios, including the legendary last scene in which the grown-ups Harry, Ron and Hermione send their own children to Hogwarts.

The Studio Tour will also be able to defy Professor Dumbledore's orders and enter the Forbidden Forest in an exciting new permanent expansion. The forest that houses Aragog the Acromantula and Buckbeak the Hippogriff comprises 19 trees, each with a diameter of over 12 feet. Visitors can walk under the entwined roots, discover how to control the weather in the forest and use the same techniques as in filming.

Here are some of the things you can expect:

Enjoy the first Harry Potter film on the journey to and from the studios.
Come in and discover the actual Great Hall.
Explore the Dumbledore office and discover treasures never before seen.
Step onto the famous cobblestones of Winkelgasse, with the window displays of Ollivander's Magic Wand Shop, Flourish and Blotts, Weasley's Magic Magic Jokes, Gringott's and Eeylop's Owl Department Store.
See iconic props from the movies, including Harry's Nimbus 2000 and Hagrid's motorcycle.
Learn how creatures were brought to life with green screen effects, animatronics and life-size models.
Discover other unforgettable sets from the film series, including the Gryffindor common room, the boys' dormitory, Hagrid's hut, the Potions classroom and Professor Umbridge's office at the Ministry of Magic.
Immerse yourself in the dark arts: see the fireplace and table at Malfoy Manor, where Bellatrix Lestrange, the Malfoy family, the Death Eaters and Voldemort sat, and a 20-foot model of Voldemort's snake Nagini!
