Your experience

  • Get on the coach and visit 12th century Malahide Castle, a solid piece of Irish history surrounded by 1.1 km2 of parkland
  • Enjoy a scenic drive along the north coast of Dublin
  • Stroll through the beautiful village of Howth and enjoy the magnificent views from its summit

The Irish capital is bigger than you think. Look forward to discovering what lies behind Temple Bar and Guinness Storehouse. This tour takes you from the centre of Dublin to the north of the city, where a haunted castle and fishing village with a view awaits you. There is no need to bother with organising train rides or long distances between venues.

Forget Dublin Castle - the city's most authentic medieval fortress is located in the village of Malahide. There you will find the recently renovated but still very epic looking Malahide Castle. Built in the 12th century and owned by the Talbot family for over 800 years, this magnificent monument has it all: lush gardens, beautiful period furniture, bloody history and not just one, not two, but five spirits!

The castle's award-winning guides will tell you about the Talbot family and their connection to the historic Battle of the Boyne. Take a look at the castle grounds before you return to the bus - by the way, big stars like Eric Clapton and Radiohead have played here.

The next and last stop is Howth, a fishing village that has become a noble quarter. There is a lot to see and photograph here, but nothing is better than a good old game with the seal at the harbour. The grand finale is the drive to Howth summit, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Dublin Bay.
