Immerse yourself in history and learn more about art, architecture and literature
Take a walk to Charles Bridge and enjoy the great view of the shore
Explore the world behind the facades of Prague's houses in the old and new town, full of stories from the most diverse themes. Learn more about residents and owners and dedicate yourself to architecture, music and literature. Nevertheless, you will also talk about the pleasure houses, which were often located in inner courtyards - and in which numerous artists sought their inspiration.
The journey begins in the pulsating heart of Prague, on Wenceslas Square, whose wide houses are connected by a dense network of passages. You will notice that these are not just shortcuts, but also shops, cinemas and theatres, or even dance halls and exclusive restaurants. Marvel at the mosaics, vitrages and glass ceilings through which daylight penetrates the room and which lend this hidden world a peculiar flair.
Then experience the predecessor of the wide passages, the so-called through-houses in the alleys of the old town. These make it possible to reach another street or another square via inner courtyards. Although unfortunately many passages are closed today, your guide still knows some of the paths that Prague people took and still take. You will reach the Charles Bridge, where your walk ends with an unforgettable view of the left bank of the Vltava.
The meeting point will be arranged individually. Your guide will be happy to pick you up.
