The extensive Prague Castle, an ancient symbol of the Czech country, is one of the most important cultural institutions in the Czech Republic. With this ticket you will receive skip-the-line access and can look at all the details at your leisure.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest connected castle complex in the world, covering an area of almost 70,000 m2. This "coherent" title is not bad for a castle built far back in the 800s. It was rebuilt and renovated several times, lit on fire and was also the scene of the second Prague lintel - an act that led to the Bohemian Revolt.
All this is great when you immerse yourself in history, but if you are not yet, you should know that this castle towers over the Bohemian capital like a fairy tale. The collection of museums, galleries and cultural treasures inside is as varied as it is beautiful from afar. That is why it is one of the most popular places in the city. Whether in history, in the beautiful things, in royalty or in weapons and war, there is something here that will delight everyone.
You meet your representative directly in front of St. Vitus Cathedral and collect your tickets from him. Then it goes directly to the Prague Castle District B. This route takes you to the interiors of the castle, the Old Royal Palace, the St. George's Basilica, the wonderfully picturesque Golden Lane and the breathtaking glass paintings of St. Vitus Cathedral.
Meet our representative in front of the main entrance of St. Vitus Cathedral in the castle at 12:05. The representative will be holding an open blue and white umbrella and will wait a maximum of 10 minutes, so don't be late - otherwise you can't use your ticket.
The best way to access the castle is by using the side entrance, which is a 10-minute walk from the Malostranská metro station. Make sure to arrive at the castle at 11:20 to go through the security check with plenty of time.
Discounts are available at the box office for secondary school and university students (17-26), and seniors (65+) - all with a valid ID.
