Description

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, 11 km from the city. Once there you will be able to admire the lakes and lagoons as well as the rivers and their exit to the Beagle Channel.

First you will go from Maipu Avenue to the southwest via the national road nro. 3 from the city to the National Park. Continue through the valley to the turnoff to Ensenada Bay, where you can visit the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and the other coast of the Beagle Channel, the snow-white mountains of the Sampaio chain (Chile).

Back on the road and surrounded by the forest and its flora, you drive to Lake Roca, where you take a walk along the lake shore and the river Lapataia, which has its origin in the lake. From here you can also see the Cóndor hill, which forms the natural border with Chile.

Continue towards the other end of the park, where the route nro. 3 ends at Lapataia Bay. On the way there you will see the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon, a large peat bog with a growing area, and learn all about it.

Finally, you will pass the beaver dams, from where you can walk to Lapataia Bay.

After an eventful day in nature, you will be brought back to your hotel in Ushuaia.
