Your experience

Highlights

  • Explore Patagonia's hidden treasures on a full-day trip to Victoria Island and Myrtle Forest
  • Cruise on Lake Nahuel Huapi and explore the island, which offers an incredible view of the surrounding mountains
  • Unique in this world, the Myrtle Forest will surprise you with its special features

Description

In the morning or early afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Puerto Pañuelo, from where you will sail in a landscape of snow-capped mountains and lush forests. On the clear waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi you will reach the island of Victoria, the island of high cliffs.

As you walk through the pine forests and birch koi huts, you'll feel the stories and legends that are there. A reserve with the native Pudu pudu and exotic animals like red deer and golden pheasant, as well as a ranger school and a warm hut animate the island.

After a few minutes drive we continue to the peninsula Quetrihue, where the famous myrtle forest is located, which is worldwide unique due to its size, density and development. The myrtle trees, a unique Andean species covered with white flowers or snow, take the forest to a magical and new dimension.

Finally, when the sunset begins on the Andes, you return to the shore, from where you will be taken back to your hotel.
