Get to know the history of Wroclaw
Immerse yourself in the history of the Second World War
Admire Wroclaw from the cathedral
Your walk through Breslau starts at the market place. Fortunately, the market square and the town hall were not destroyed during the war, so you can admire the magnificent scenery. You can stroll to the beautiful salt market, under which there were once powerful anti-aircraft shelters.
After some time you will reach Liebichshöhe, a famous Belvedere built in 1867. During the Second World War it was the command station of the second commander of Wroclaw Fortress, Hans von Ahlbert. Walk to the main station, which is not far from the bunker. At the station take the tram and head towards Neumarkt and Dominsel. From the photos you will see that the destruction by the war was the greatest here. On the viewing platform of the cathedral you have a great view over Breslau.
The viewpoint is to be paid in cash on site.
