Your experience

Description

Discover Ireland's majestic southern landscape on a castle chase through misty mountains and wide open valleys on a guided bus tour from Dublin to Blarney in Cork. The enchanting landscape of Cork, known as Rebel County for its history of warring kings, is dotted with stunning medieval castles where epic battles, sieges and royal intrigue took place centuries ago.

If you are a fan of certain books and TV shows about clashing conflicts, or if you are a history lover with a passion for beautiful nature and old castles, this is the tour for you! Explore everything with a friendly guide who will tell you the rich history of the region with vivid stories.

Cross the airy peaks of the breathtaking Galty and Knockmealdown Mountains, wind your way to Blarney Castle and the famous Blarney Stone. Kissing the stone is supposed to give visitors the "gift of talk", a good luck charm that makes you the life and soul of the party

Stroll through the castle ruins and look over the battlements for the incredible view in all directions. You also have time to wander through the palace gardens like the aristocracy of yesteryear

You will also visit the Rock of Cashel, a magnificent hilltop fortress which is considered one of the 7 wonders of Ireland. The seat of the King of Münster, which lay before the Anglo-Norman conquerors of Ireland, is a remarkable remnant of ancient times.

We then continue on to the incredibly well-preserved Cahir Castle before returning to Dublin as evening falls over the landscape.
