Your experience

Description

Visit the commemorative 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the global focal point for preserving the history and impact of the events of September 11, 2001, and immerse yourself in the day that changed the world forever with impressive museum exhibits that describe life before, during and after America's deadliest terrorist attack. Then visit the symbol of freedom that rose from the rubble of September 11th, the breathtaking One World Observatory and look out over Manhattan from the highest building in the Western Hemisphere.

The 9/11 Memorial, entitled Reflecting Absence, consists of two hectares of reflecting pools dug into the original footprints of the Twin Towers. The basins are bordered by a bronze rim on which the names of the victims of September 11 and the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center are inscribed. It is a deeply moving experience

From the memorial site, the tour leads through the entrance pavilion to the 110,000 square meter underground museum. Inside, a profound and sobering variety of exhibitions will follow the events of September 11 and how they changed the world forever. See a section of the North Tower Antenna, crushed first responder vehicles as well as multimedia exhibits and first-hand reports

Nothing would ever keep the tireless New York spirit in check, and the One World Tower is the proof. Climb to 102 floors in 47 seconds and reach the One World Observatory, where the fascinating skyline of Manhattan opens up before you.

Drive across the 14-foot glass floor, see the bustling streets hundreds of feet below you, and be enchanted by interactive exhibits that showcase the amazing achievements of engineering and architecture and the building's striking origins.
