Your experience

Description

It is difficult to see all 350 masterpieces by Rembrandt at once. Not only because some of his paintings take up entire walls, but also because they are distributed in 18 countries. Discover Rembrandt in a completely new exhibition at RAI Amsterdam, which overcomes this small hurdle by reproducing the entire work of the Dutch master using the latest digital technology.

The exhibition shows works from international museum collections as well as private collections, including the stolen and damaged paintings, which were faithfully reproduced in all their Golden Age glory.

Discover Rembrandt offers a deeper insight into one of the greatest painters in history by bringing together all the works of the Dutch master in a special exhibition that is unprecedented in its scope.

The heart of the exhibition is of course the Militia Company of District II under the command of Captain Frans Banninck Cocq, better known as the Night Watch. But this night watch contains the pages that were barbarously cut off to fit the royal palace in 1715.

The really disfigured masterpiece still stands pretty in the Rijksmuseum, but if you want to see how the painting originally looked, get a ticket for this exhibition. This year marks the 350th anniversary of the artist's death and is a great opportunity to learn more about one of the world's greatest painters.
