Your experience

Description

Take a tour of the Kia Oval, one of the oldest and most prestigious cricket grounds in the world. You'll gain unprecedented access to the sacred grounds - see the ground floor plaza, follow in the footsteps of your heroes in the dressing rooms, and even step into the commentary box. Listen carefully and you can hear the echo of willow on leather!

Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, this 90-minute tour reveals the rich history of this historic site, from its first construction in 1845 to its current use, where major tournaments such as Test Match Specials and The Ashes are held.

You won't want to miss this opportunity to feel the sacred lawn under your feet and learn more about the incredible efforts that keep the grass so untouched - who would have thought gardening would be so exciting? From the famous Peter May Station, you can then visit the spectacular stadium and learn more about the meticulous construction of cricket equipment before heading to the real dressing rooms where thousands of sports legends are ready to fight!

At the end of the tour you can take time to enjoy memorabilia from the past and present in the Club Museum before relaxing with tea and coffee in the Members' Pavilion. More to see and do than you can shake a wicket - howzat!
