Your experience

Highlights

  • Discover the marine world of Table Bay during a fantastic boat trip
  • Learn more about history at the South African Museum and admire the Company Gardens
  • Visit Cape Town City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope
  • Be enchanted by the colourful houses in the Malay Quarter, also called Bo-Kaap

Description

Let us pick you up at your hotel and experience an unforgettable trip. First explore Table Bay with its countless inhabitants on an exciting boat trip and then discover the sights and most beautiful places of Cape Town.

Go on board a hydrofoil and marvel at the fascinating marine world of Table Bay. Enjoy the picturesque views of Table Mountain and Robben Island, which offer wonderful photo opportunities

After the boat trip, your journey of discovery continues ashore. Visit the Castle of Good Hope, built in 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company. Today the castle is the seat of the military on the Cape and is open to anyone who wants to learn more about its history.

Beneath the slopes of Signal Hill, Bo Kaap is a vibrant area that was somehow bypassed in the forced eviction policy of apartheid. This area, also called Malay Quarter, is known for its colourful huts and authentic Malay culture. No visit to Cape Town would be complete without a visit to Bo Kaap.

The South African Museum then offers an insight into the life and development of South Africa over the centuries. It is located in the company garden, where the seat of the parliament is located. Pristine lawns, shady paths, ornate fish ponds, statues of past leaders and many strange squirrels are just part of the charm of Company Gardens

After some history, you can look forward to a stopover at the famous Blue Flag beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. These beaches are located on the Atlantic coast and stretch from the Waterfront to Hout Bay. Only a few minutes from the city centre, the beaches are ideal for sunbathing and water sports.

Also visit Signal Hill, a famous landmark from which the historic noon cannon is fired. The hill rewards hikers with a breathtaking view over the port of Table Bay, the central city and the Atlantic Ocean. Tourists and locals meet all year round for a family picnic on Signal Hill.
