Enjoy an exciting tour, on which the "Neustadt" with its urban development thinning projects from the early XX century will be presented. Century and the "Old Town" with its hidden treasures.

First you will visit the Chiesa di Santa Teresa dei Maschi, where you will hear about the history of the church and architectural details of the façade.

We then go to Palazzo Simi - Centro Operativo per l'Archeologia. There you will take a guided tour of the excavations and visit the small Byzantine church, as well as the exhibition rooms for archaeological artefacts.

We continue to the so-called "Block 49", which faces the Largo San Sabino. A complex of medieval houses that almost completely preserve the old structure of the buildings.

You can also visit the Cathedral of San Sabino (entrance ticket not included) and see the "Succorpo" (crypt) and the archaeological excavations on a complete tour.

Walk further along the "Muraglia" (city wall) and learn more about Bari and its hidden treasures.

After walking north along the entire city wall, you enter the old part of the city and discover the narrow streets that lead to the small square Piazzetta Santa Maria, one of the most picturesque corners of the old city. Here you can visit the ruins of the church of Santa Maria del Buon Consiglio.
