Visit of the Talad Room Hood-Markets
Floating Market in Damnoen Saduak
Travel on a narrow-gauge railway
Mangrove forests with swimming monkey
Your guide picks you up at 7.45am from the lobby of your hotel. With the bus, you will drive to the Talad Room Hoob Market.
The uniqueness of this market is that the merchants have to pack their things several times a day, because a train passes by - the booths are directly on the tracks! Assure yourself to the originalty of this market.
Afterwards we are visiting the Floating Market in Damnoen Saduak (on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays we will visit the floating market in Amphawa).
If you are interested in Klong Kone, we will go there and hop on a boat to drive through the mangrove forest with swimming monkeys.
We then go to the Maha Chai Station, hop on the narrow-gauge train and enjoy a 30-minute ride. We see, how the Thais live close to the tracks.
Our bus awaits us at the Khan Keha station and we will go back to Bangkog (drive about 45 minutes).
Note: I purposely did not chose the train ride to the Talad Rom Hoob market, because you can only see salt fields during this journey. The drive from Mahachai to Khan Keha is far more interesting.
The provider requires for the Thai Tourism Authority of all participants the first and last name and nationality. Please provide this information to the provider at or after booking.
On this excursion the railway trip to the Talad Rom Hoob-Market was deliberately not chosen, as only salt fields can be seen on the way. More interesting is the trip from Mahachai to Khan Keha.
If you want to go to Klong Kone, the trip takes 1 hour 30 minutes longer.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will visit the floating market in Amphawa instead of the Floating Market in Damnoen Saduak. If you wish, the day trip can start at 10 am.
