Relax on a bus trip with a good prospect

Admire the breath-taking nature
The tour starts with the visit of the idyllic little village Yaiza, at the edge of the fire mountains. You can take panoramic images of the volcanic craters of the Timanfaya mountains in the background or enjoy a „Café con Leche“.
We proceed our tour to the breathtaking rocky coast of „Los Hervideros“ in the west – a nature testimony of the volcano eruptions from 1730 to 1736. The natural spectacle shows until today the fight between water and fire. The powerful Atlantic's waves squeeze at this section of the coast through the rock fissures. There, they speed up unloading as huge water fontains.
The rock formations are also quite impressive because they are a wonderful view point and a little balcony formed by nature. From this point of view, you can watch the spectacle.
Following the coastal road to El Golfo, you get to one of the most fascinating trip destinations of the island: The “Chargo de los Clicos“ or „Lago verde“ - it means „Green sea“ in English. The sea's water is coloured in green due to the sea weed Ruppia Maritima. Its bay out of lava and tuff offers an impressive scenery to photographers because of its special colours and unusual shape.
Before discovering the Timanfaya national parc you can have a short dromedary's ride (optional 6€ /25 minutes). Meanwhile, you can enjoy the view over the sandy offshoots of the volcanoes.
Afterwards, we finally get to the “Montanas del Fuego“, the fire mountains. This fascinating landscape was created during the volcano eruptions from 1730 to 1736 when hundred volcanoes with over three-hundred craters covered the island with lava. Discover the impressive geothermal experiments which give a clue to the immense energy which must be still there only some metres under the surface.
Now, you discover the national parc at an exciting bus tour. The bus drivers know how to direct the buses through the lava landscape next to the volcano vents.
On the bus, you hear the authentic memories of the priest of Yaiza „Lorenzo Curbelo“ in English, who witnessed and decribed the volcano eruptions in the 18th century. His describtions tell you how the people's lives had been influenced by the force of the nature and how they suffered.
You will have lunch in a typical Canary atmosphere. For this, you go by bus to Yaiza with your personal guide of Lanzarote. This beautiful village has been already elected serveral times for being the most beautiful place in Spain. You can chose from a varied buffet and are served with wine and water. This is the ideal moment to pose your questions to the English-speaking guide.
Now you will discover another highlight: The wine-growing district „La Geria“ in the centre of Lanzarote. „La Geria“ is a cultivated landscape with over 5000 square metres. It is characterized by the dry farming method. This impressive landscape is shaped by thousands of „zocos“ (funnel shaped constructions which give shelter to a single vine). Due to this fact, the area has been already in the 1960's declared to a total artwork by the „Museum of Modern Art“ in New York. You will get further information concerning the hard work of this viticulture method. In addition, you will witness a wine tasting session in one of the Bodegas.
Between 16 and 17 o'clock you will be back again at your starting point.

A great tour and a great service. Unfortunately, we didn't find the meeting point at first. But one telephone call was enough and we were picked up and dropped off at the meetings point. The value for money is perfect!
