Istanbul is the largest city of Turkey. This city offers a wide range of marvelous sights and also a wonderful Old City.
On this tour your guide will take you to the Sultan Ahmet Center, the heart of the Old City from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled.
First we will go to the famous Hagia Sophia, the Church of the Divine Wisdom. It's one of the greatest marvels of architecture which was built in the 6th century by the Emperor Justinian.
Only 500meters away, we will visit the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also called Blue Mosque because of its blue tiles, which is unique with its 6 minarets.
Afterwards, the guide will show you the Hippodrome of Constantinople, former center of sportive events and political activities, where you can sightsee the Serpentine Column, the Obelisk of Theodosius and the German Fountain of Wilhelm II.
At the end of the tour your guide will take you to the Grand Covered Bazaar with its nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, souvenirs and much more.
