At the Rossio, the most important place in the city, you will get to know how Lisbon became the city it is today after the great earthquake of 1755. Take a look at the elevator of Santa Justa, at the obelisk of the Rastauradores square and at the train station of the Rossio, built in New-Manueline-style.
Listen to the history of the Carnation revolution on the Carmo square back in 1974 where the Portuguese dictatorship came to an end.
Walk with us through the elegant Chiado quarter with its old cafes, shops, theaters and book shops - and enjoy a short ride in one of Lisbon's old trams. Before this ride, we will invite you for a Pastel de Nata tasting, our delicious custard tart.
Stroll over the small squares and narrow streets of the old Moor quarter, where the time seems to stand still and visit the oldest church of the city, the Sé. Afterwards we will have a small wine tasting with some Portuguese cheese and chouriço.
The tour ends at the Praça do Comercio, the former gate to the city and the world, one of the biggest and most beautiful places in Europe.
There are no additional costs. The tickets for the public transport are already included. There are no ticket fees neccessary during this tour, because we do not visit any sights for which we have to pay any entrance.
